Người nắm giữ những vị thế mở với hình thức là Hợp đồng tương lai buộc đảm bảo thực hiện điều khoản hợp đồng. Vì vậy để tránh việc giao nhận hàng thực, quý Nhà Đầu tư được yêu cầu Tất toán vị thế mở khi tới lịch đáo hạn. Để tránh việc nhầm lẫn, Nhà Đầu tư cần hiểu rõ khái niệm Ngày thông báo đầu tiên (first notice day) và Ngày giao dịch cuối cùng (last trading day). 1. Ngày thông báo đầu tiên (FND):

Là ngày Nhà Đầu tư đưa ra quyết định sẽ giao nhận hàng vật chất hay không, và cũng có thể được chỉ định phải thanh lý Hợp đồng bằng việc giao nhận thật (phụ thuộc tình hình cung cầu thị trường thực tế khi đó). Tuy vậy Sở Giao dịch Hàng hóa Việt Nam chưa có giao nhận hàng vật chất nên Nhà Đầu tư cần tất toán những lệnh này trước ngày thông báo đầu tiên.

Nhà Đầu tư được yêu cầu tất toán những vị thế đến kỳ đáo hạn HĐ thường trước 2 ngày làm việc so với ngày Thông báo đầu tiên – Theo quy định của Sở Giao dịch hàng hóa Việt Nam. Khách hàng có thể đóng lại và mở mới HĐ mặt hàng đó ở kỳ hạn xa hơn

2. Ngày giao dịch cuối cùng (LTD):

Là ngày cuối cùng một hợp đồng tương lai có thể được giao dịch hoặc đóng lại trước khi giao hàng. Trong thời gian từ ngày Thông báo đầu tiên đến ngày Giao dịch cuối cùng thì giá trên chart kỳ hạn đó sẽ vẫn chạy, dựa trên biến động cung cầu thực tế của sản phẩm có Hợp Đồng kỳ hạn. Trên căn cứ của Sở Giao dịch Hàng hóa Việt Nam thì những vị thế được mở sau ngày thông báo đầu tiên này sẽ lập tức bị đóng lại – Tức Nhà Đầu tư không được mở mới vị thế. Nhà Đầu tư lưu ý những yếu tố trên để đưa ra chiến lược giao dịch phù hợp.

Lưu ý: Tất toán đúng kỳ hạn theo yêu cầu của Sở. Những vị thế mở phát sinh sau đó do chủ quan sẽ được Sở đóng lại theo quy định, TVKD hoàn toàn không chịu trách nhiệm.
